Hijama In light of the Prophetic Tradition

The Prophet (PBUH) praised a person who performs cupping, saying it removes blood, lightens the back and sharpens the eyesight.

Cupping (Hijaamah) is a practice highly recommended by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ for many ailments that a person may suffer from.

The Prophet ﷺ said: "Indeed the best of remedies you have is Hijaamah…" (Bukhari)

The Prophet ﷺ also said that on the night of Al-Israa wal-Mi-raaj (the Night Journey), he did not pass by an Angel except that it was said to him, "Oh Muhammad, order your nation with Hijaamah." (Tirmidhi)

The Prophet ﷺ said, "If there was something excellent to be used as a remedy, then it is cupping."
(Abu Dawood & ibn Maajah)

     Yes Hijama is simple, it has been practised by many cultures through the centuries. So we are not teaching something very complicated. However there are certain health, safety and medical standards which need to be observed by law and practioners must be aware of.

How does this online course work?
The whole course is studied online, via the website. Once the student has registered on the website and paid the tuition fees, they have access to the course materials. They then study the course material and take the online quizzes. Once all of these are completed, the student undertakes a one day practical training class. They then start their case studies. When these are complete, they submit their case studies coursework. They also take their final practical exam in person or via video. The students have full access to course tutors via email, phone and text.

Does the online model really work?
